Panera Bread closed here forever. What happened to it? Why did it close?

They sometimes don't work during certain week days. What's going on?

Panera Bread @ 26541 Aliso Creek Road closed a few months ago with little to no fanfare and it's hard to be surprised, really. The restaurant didn't do well these past couple of years.

It looked as such when I passed by it. Or was it just a slow day?

The Panera Bread in Hickory on 2nd Street closed a few days ago with dudes coming in with trucks to remove the sign from the building. That was kinda sad to see. I like Panera Bread. It is one of the few restaurant chains that feels "real" to me.

I don't want to sound callous or anything but perhaps it is time for Panera Bread to get rid of some restaurants that are underperforming so they could save some money and instead improve their other restaurants. This would be good for businesses I... — read more

I tell you -= they do fine job here - no stores are closing - price is right at Panera and quality is good - I hope they never go into closings

The Panera Bread location at the mall is closed and its said that Panera is building a free-standing location near the Costco at 123rd Street and West Dodge Road.

I love Panera Bread in general but their Rochester location was so-so. Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't like their other restaurants in Minnesota. However, it was still disappointing to see them shutter this year.

Panera Bread closed in Atlanta this month. I am not fond of Panera Bread, but I liked this restaurant quite a lot. The issues I have with the chain simply were not present in this restaurant. They were great, too bad that they have closed.

For some reason I was never that fond of soups but I genuinely loved how Panera Bread prepared them so I always ordered one when I went here in San Jose. Man, I just let out the biggest sigh. It's really sad that they are gone.

It is a little bit upsetting that Panera Bread is going to close very soon in Reston Town Center. Their last day is next month on December 17th. At least they are not closing on Christmas, which is a small mercy.

I'm obsessed with Panera Bread but their Westminster location just didn't cut it for me. The restaurant at 16340 Beach Boulevard left me wanting for more so I always ended up going to other Panera Bread locations.

This was such a great restaurant! I was sick at the time when I visited here last time and their food was the only thing I could digest properly so I had a soft spot for this location. Very sad that they aren't open to the public anymore.
