Detroit's White Castle on W Warren Ave is no longer open and that sucks.

A pretty decent, albeit a bit standard - and if not outright boring - White Castle Hamburger on Sycamore Rd closed two or three years ago because of some lease issue.

This was disappointing thing that happened. I don't remember when it closed but I remember feeling almost distraight. White Castle is a favorite of mine and when it closed I was really sad.

So it seems it closed.

White Castle used to be at the top but now they are cheap and old - they need to update - menu and premises - they will close many restaurants if they do not follow my advice

Apparently they couldn't afford to keep the White Castle on South Avenue in Plainfield open since it didn't bring in the sales they desired so they have closed it last month. What a bummer. It was such a great burger joint.

When they closed it really, really, really p-ss-d me off! So many mediocre burger joints stay open to this day but this White Castle just had to close, huh? What a waste. Murfreesboro suffered an incredible loss.

I never liked this burger joint not even one bit, no sir. Not even one bit. How hard is it to make a good burger? I don't get it. I don't get it at all. White Castle is great in other places but this one missed the mark.

I love, love, LOVE White Castle and I LOVED their Royal Oaks restaurant. One of the best burger places in town, hands down! No question about it! Not to be melodramatic but when they shuttered my heart was broken to pieces.

Oooh, I sure loved this White Castle a lot back in the day. I hated it so much when I found out that they have closed this 525 8Th Ave location. I do not think that it was a wise decision. It is only my opinion, but I do think that it holds water.
