Thread regarding Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut finally does something smart for a change

I don't get why people got their panties in a bunch when they heard that Pizza Hut will close some of their locations and move towards a mostly delivery-only service. That was the smartest choice they made in decades.

People dine in the comforts of their homes these days anyway (who has the time to dress up all nice and proper and then eat at a potentially unwelcoming or dirty restaurant?) so is this REALLY a controversial decision?

The future is now! Let's accept it with open arms!

And for the argument that people will be left jobless after this, well... tough luck. Those people will figure something out. Life is all about challenges.

You don't need to like Pizza Hut to realize that this is a bad thing regardless

"Those people will figure something out. Life is all about challenges." that sounds like someone who always had things handed to him on a silver platter. If you actually knew how hard it is to face those challenges, you wouldn't sound so blasé.

  • are you daft? They won't be closing "some" of their locations. At least 400 of them will be gone. Do you even comprehend how many people will be unemployed when that happens? I don't know about you, but not everyone can just "figure something out" like it's magic or something. This is too serious of a situation for you to just make a dismissive statement like "life is all about challenges".
