I cannot say that I am at all surprised by these news but I am still absolutely gutted by them.
I do not know what will happen to Pier 1 themselves or to my own local Pier 1 Imports store but one thing is for certain.
They have filed for bankruptcy and are trying to find someone to buy the company.

That's just horrible
