People fail to realize how hard the pandemic has affected businesses. Yes, it's been two years now since everyone realized what covid is but even after two years it is still negatively impacting stores. The YMCA is closing their Pineland location in New Gloucester next month for example and the reason for the closure is cited as being... you guessed it... the pandemic.
At least there won't be any layoffs... or at least that's what the CEO said at least.
