I've been keeping an ear to the ground and I've been hearing some rumors about closures happening next year. Macy's trimming the fat and closing under-performing stores. Is that true or are they just that, baseless rumors? I've been doing some reading online too and I've seen folks mentioning their Macy's seemingly preparing for something. Maybe closings?

There's been a lot of rumors lately reporting that Macy's is preparing to close a big number of stores. The rumors started around Thanksgiving time last year. One of the rumors was that the Fort Collins store in Colorado will close and if you check it yourself it seems to be true. I don't know what to believe personally because a lot of those rumors end up being wrong as well. Let's wait and see, I guess.

These will be closing this year.
