Last time I was there there were multiple warning signs - low inventory, no shoppers, really not well kept store. So, is Hazlet Kmart closing based on what you know?

They are selling the place and the new owner wants something new there - Kmart does not mid and will move on - they are about to collapse anyway, if you look at how they run their business, it's all outdated and they are expensive if compared to other stores
I heard they are supposed to be closed by December, due to a change of shopping center ownership.

I drove by the store yesterday and there is a huge banner across the front saying store closing.
The store was always busy when I went, I don't understand why they are closing.
Any update here is appreciated. Go blame Obama for all companies closing and jobs being shipped overseas. Stores closing? Blame him.
I have heard from a friend that they are closing. According to the friend who called the store, the projected closing date is October 30th. As of right now, the sales are at 10-25% off.
