I think this could have been better managed @ Things Remembered - honestly the management should have done much better job. They did not manage loans well and the stores were not run properly - that's some of the issues. Also, they should have been taking better care of the workers - how can Things Remembered expect people to be enthused and to sell when they are not taken care of?
Now, Things Remembered will pay the price and the internet shopping coupled with other things will turn things upside down forever. If you are in retail you will have hard time finding good jobs anytime soon, things are different today.
