This is the list that got announced today - 32 stores closing (published on March 10 2017):

- Illinois Closures (3) – Champaign, Algonquin, Springfield
- Indiana Closures (2 - two) – Merrillville, Greenfield
- Minnesota Closures (3 - three) – Rogers, Mankato, Woodbury
- New York Closures (1 - one) – New Hartford
- North Carolina Closures (2 - two) – Raleigh, South Charlotte
- Tennessee Closures (1 - one) – Chattanooga
- Texas Closures (10 - ten) – Houston, K–leen, Laredo, Lubbock, Round Rock, San Antonio, Sugar Land, Texarkana, Waco, West Houston
- West Virginia Closures (1 - one) – Charleston
- Wisconsin Closures (2 - two) – Eau Claire, Germantown
The list of "closed stores" below is about 95% INaccurate. It includes some GM that closed years ago, and other addresses that never existed.

Many of the 30-40 percent off prices are higher than what local retailers are selling in Cedar Rapids area. Could never get a decent offer on a trade in firearm. High ammo prices and always running ads for what they did not have. Great employees always felt sorry they had to deal with ill ran Gander Mountain Corporate games and low ball firearm buying rules.
The store that is listed as closed in Onalaska, WI relocated. There is still a store here.

Is there a better list of stores closing than the one provided below? I'd like to see if we can get a list of stores that WILL BE closed in future, not the list of stores that have already been closed.
There was an outage at AWS that affected scores of servers and services yesterday. Nothing to do with GM.
@AnonymousFE8 the website back up now - if it was routine, I'd expect an error message to say 'down due to xyz' - it was just out... but, there was a ton of websites that went down yesterday, maybe we got affected by the same bug or whatever, I am not technical though
the website was down due to ROUTINE MAINTENANCE! nothing more nothing less.

Funny I was just in a G mtn in Ohio asking y they're so much more expensive than a 3 store franchise...he pointed to a sign that said they match any price plus another 10% discount...he came back and offered me same gun for $20 more than we just discussed so I guess that sign is a lie
We'll probably know who's on the list within next 4 weeks - they need to do something as both vendors and customers are concerned about the future of the company. We already are seeing reports that people are concerned about our ability to pay bills.
No list as of now, I'd like all people who are aware of any closings to post each of them here. If we get hold of the list, let's share that as well. The list of stores closing will be long, as I am assuming that Chapter 11 BK is coming soon, but cannot confirm this.
They have not published it.
