I heard Lowe's will be closed by the end of May. Between light rail and BMW, we don't stand a chance. But Lowe's hasn't told us anything. Employees are bailing left and right, including managers.

dearest anonymous 36 your post is why I quit shopping at Lowes 2 years ago the attitude and poor service started long before they announced the closing.
Just announced today they will be closing in July. They are not renewing their lease.
Today they announced to the employees that the store will be closing on July 28th. A handful of employees were laid off today. The rest were assured employment at other Lowe's at same position and pay. Everyone was offered a severance package if they worked through July 28th.
I work for Lowes in Bellevue as well. All managers have secured their jobs at other locations and haven't told the employees squat. Reprehensible as they do not care about the employees whatsoever and the service and morale have hit tock bottom and nobody takes pride in their work because the employees know it's all over soon
