Thread regarding KFC - Kentucky Fried Chicken in Brockton 2301

I found out that the store closed due to a kitchen fire in 2010. The store said "Double Down" and "Doublicious" for many years. The store was painted ugly and the sign was down for many years. In 2016, KFC was knocked down with the former Jack in the Box location and a nearby house to build the CVS. CVS needed a bigger and modern store. The kitchen fire was serious and they did not end up reopening the KFC. The only KFC in Brockton is on North Montello Street and the employees had to be transferred there or to another KFC.
