Oak Brook, IL is a temporary closure for a remodel.
The store will be closed for remodeling and will reopen in the Summer of 2018 (hopefully by mid June 2018). It will be a new one level Sears store located solely on the lower level of the current store location. Sears Auto Center (which will remain open at this time). Sears is the only surviving anchor of the Mall which opened in 1962. The new Sears will be 77,000 square feet. The merchandise assortment is still being determined but will be certain to contain the best of the best of Sears including appliances, tools, mattresses, sporting goods, seasonal lawn and garden and grills.
