I heard layoffs are happening at Big Lots. Is it true? If so, why am I not seeing any news regarding that anywhere?

Really sad that it's gone

Didn't even know that this was a thing (and apparently the employees didn't know it either) but it seems that it is true after all. The Big Lots store in Chino Hills will be closing for good next year sometime in January.

I read online that a Big Lots store could be closing for good in west Amarillo in Texas. The date of the closing is November 20, next month. Is that possible? Does anyone have more info? I wish so badly that it is not true.

I can be such a dumb–s sometimes. I thought that the Big Lots had closed in Kent but instead it was just remodelling. That's a relief to hear.... here's hoping that the prices will be a bit more reasonable with this new store.

I wonder if me asking this is useless but I just need to know. I can't find any information on whether the chain is planning on closing some stores or not.
