Well, it seems that the Di-k's Sporting Goods on 8030 Park Ln in Dallas closed for good a few months back. It is a shame since that store carried a large number of quality equipment. The gear was amazing. I hoped that the store could survive this... — read more
Sad but true - Serramonte Center lost a valuable tenant recently. Di-k's Sporting Goods closed for good.
It's disheartening to see how our malls just seem to be dying out. Sure, D–k's Sporting Goods just relocated in Clay but it still feels bad. D–k's location in the Great Northern Mall was iconic and the chain no longer being there is an issue. — read more
D–k's Sporting Goods' 4715 24th Ave location in Fort Gratiot closed a couple of months ago which is a pity since that store was great. It looked nice and I like all of D–k's stores anyways so losing it was tough.
While we have absolutely no information on why D–k's Sporting Goods is closing on January 3rd I think that we can make an educated guess. Money stopped coming in. That's my guess. Maybe I'm right. Maybe I'm wrong. The Kingsport Pavillion store... — read more
I was hoping someone could clear this up for me. The D–k's Sporting Goods that was located in Yorkville, Illinois on Erica Lane - what happened? I liked that store a lot. People complained about the staff giving them lip but I never had issues... — read more
D–k's Sporting Goods in d—son City is gone. It was a solid location but I don't remember seeing it garner much traffic. I could be wrong of course, but for now I think the reason they closed is that the store underperformed.
So, D–k's Sporting Goods closed up shop in this location. I wonder why. Their sales dropped, sure, but I don't get it. I think their inventory was expansive and their merch wasn't too expensive, yet it was of high quality. It's a head-scratcher. — read more
D–k's Sporting Goods closed in Westland. I don't know when they closed and I especially don't know why they closed. It was a good store and I am still deeply aggravated by their choice to close it. I don't understand it.
this great store is closed, too bad
Does someone know when this D–k's Sporting Goods has closed? I could have sworn that it was open until recently but my brother-in-law mentioned it being closed for quite some time now. That's just weird to me. Maybe I didn't notice it get closed? — read more
I know that the D–k's Sporting Goods was open in Troy for quite a while now but it was still gone far too soon anyway in my opinion. I couldn't get enough from it, literally. I miss it a lot, especially their prices.
I was shocked when I saw that the D–k's Sporting Goods in the Washington Square Mall is closing the other day. They have already closed the store for good and Indianapolis is the poorer for it. The mall's New Year has started a bit rough.
8030 Park Ln D–k's Sporting Goods was on a such nice location. It was a jackpot. It must have stung to leave it a couple of months ago. It was Lake Highlands' best store. I must look around Dallas to see if there are other great D–k's Sporting... — read more

D–k's Sporting Goods only has one issue that I can think of and they can fix it by expanding their inventory and introducing new merchandise to their stores. Better looking tennis shoes, more sizes - that sort of thing.
I read that the mall rejected D–k's lease for the stores property in favor of the mall redeveloping the space. So I'm only guessing they closed after that, right? There's no other reason given as to why this D–k’s Sporting Goods closed at the... — read more

D–k's Stony Point Shopping Center store in Richmond is closing next month. I guess there is such a thing as over-saturation (another store opened a little over a month ago relatively close by.)
Passed by yesterday 6/30/17. Store doors were open, no stock, and Logo taken down from building.
Good store, always busy
They are doing well - they manage better than SA, they will not close
