I am getting worried about all those dollar stores lately, namely Dollar General because I really do love that chain with all my heart. I just hope there won't be any major closings but I worry...

Store was robbed. Closed for 48 hours.

The only thing about this whole situation is that it is frankly shocking that Dollar General hasn't been closed even earlier at 4636 Suitland Rd. Am I being mean spirited? Maybe but I believe I'm being a realist and speaking facts.

I'm crossing my fingers that all stores will stay open.

Anyone know if Dollar General closed any stores in Maryland? Camp Springs? Anything? My friend told me he passed by a closed Dollar General but I think it's only a temporary thing. Maybe they were just cleaning the store.

Dollar General will cut hours on their stores but also commit their early hours to help senior customers. That's such great news. Kudos to Dollar General.

Can anybody tell me what's up with the Dollar General in Auburn KS? I'm just wondering if they will close that store or not. If they decide to do so I think it will happen quietly so that nobody notices. Hope it stays open.

I still do not know why I unwittingly end up avoiding dollar stores like they are the plague itself but I do know why I liked this Dollar General. It wasn't like the other dollar stores out there. So sad they closed.

I dunno when the Dollar General at 9530 Cullen Blvd had closed but they did. I dunno why they closed either. I thought they were doing well for themselves at that location? Being a dollar store and all. Guess not.

I have just heard that sadly the Dollar General in Winchester will be closing soon. Does anyone know the exact date? Can't seem to find it anywhere. Their 145 N Loudoun Street store was liked by everyone. What made them decide to close it?

When did this Jacksonville Dollar General close? I know that there are a ton of other Dollar General stores in Florida (heck, even in Jacksonville), but this one was really charming and I didn't think that it would ever be closing.

Dollar General is opening more stores than any other retailer lately and that's always good, but I wish they would take care of their older stores as well. Quality over quantity, people.

Another Dollar General store is closing, this time it's the one at 4871 Transit Road in Depew. I'm not sure what date exactly, but it'll be soon, that's for sure. I think we'll be seeing many more of these very soon.

I thought we would keep Dollar General Store also with The new Dollar Tree store. This saddens me that we will lose our Dollar Store here in Charles City,Iowa. We love this store.

I used to shop here when I was living in Sun Valley. I plan to visit soon, so I was wandering is Dollar General there still open. Hope they never close it. It's a good shop.

That's the fact, I think they have more than 10,000 stores - so when you are that big, you may afford to close one or two stores that are not performing well.
