Pei Wei just shuttered it’s last Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia-region, location—from the 6 we used to have. Springfield always seemed to have been doing a good business. My how far the chain has fallen from its height—just 10 short years ago. What... — read more
The restaurant closed a couple of years ago in Bucktown. I don't get how Pei Wei is still in business after so many failed locations predictably have closed over the last ten years.
Pei Wei had another Houston location closed. It was located on 14008 Memorial Drive and I don't believe that anyone liked that Pei Wei. At least it was clean. Sort of. Pei Wei do the smart thing and upgrade your existing locations or they will... — read more
I still hear people complaining about that.
Pei Wei's closure here is really unfortunate. I know a lot of people hated this particular diner and I have to respect their opinions but I can't help but to disagree with their criticisms. I never found this Pei Wei to be slow and their food... — read more
Someone told me that the Pei Wei on N Elston Ave closed. I heard that the diner closed because of COVID but I don't know if that's true or not.
This closure was so sudden, I do not understand? Why can't we have nice things? This is so sad to me Pei Wei was such a great diner and I wanted to visit it just once more during corona but it closed this summer so I had no chance. The last Pei Wei... — read more
I hear so many people complaining about the Pei Wei in Huntington Beach, Calif. and I just don't understand. My experience with that Pei Wei were stellar and I was so sad when they closed this year. I don't understand the Pei Wei hate at all.
Pei Wei shuttered their Arlington diner here not so long ago, something obviously went wrong for the chain at this location and I'm curious myself what made them leave it so feverishly. I think the closing was pretty abrupt.
Pei Wei in Torrance has closed. I think that this particular location just didn't work out for them. I guess it wasn't well located. Is it just me, or did I never get any solid foot traffic here? I dunno. Maybe it is just me.
I am burning with curiosity in regards to Pei Wei closing in Lake Forest Cali. The diner was rather popular. Did their popularity dwindle as time passed or did something happen to the diner that made them close it?
I doubt it will shock anyone that the Pei Wei across Whole Foods in Franklin has closed this month. It was a wonder that the restaurant at 1560 McEwen Drive was open for this long anyhow. Love Pei Wei in general just not that restaurant.
It is too bad that Pei Wei decided to close their Watauga restaurant on W Denton Highway. I think that this was one of the few Pei Wei's that I genuinely liked. They closed a couple of months ago. I think that maybe the closing happened in August?
We Indianapolis peeps have to say goodbye to the nice Pei Wei that located on the N Keystone Ave. Sad thing that had happened to the restaurant. They have closed a few weeks back and it is a darn shame. It was the best Asian diner in town.
Seems that Pei Wei in Henderson, Nevada closed last month. I like Pei Wei quite a bunch. I know they hadn't had the greatest track record as of late but I am a fan nevertheless. Anyone know if they will open in the area again?
I am pretty bummed out by this. It was one of my favorite spots to eat at in the Hill Country Galleria but they have closed last week for some reason. Thankfully, their other Austin diners won't be affected, since this seems to have been an... — read more
Wellington's Pei Wei seems to have closed. Supposedly it happened this May but I am not really sure about that. Whatever Pei Wei's faults, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for this chain. This restaurant was nice.
I was never a fan of their sushi (and I heard the tofu they used was a joke) but everything else on their menu was fantastic, in my opinion. When they shuttered earlier this year it was a great loss in my eyes. I'm searching for other Salt Lake... — read more
Seems I lucked with this Pei Wei since every time I ate here with my friends we had a fantastic time. Good and swift service and fine food. But I know others would disagree and say that they had a horrible time here... but I think the Ladue Pei Wei... — read more
I am not that familiar with Pei Wei, I ate only at two or three of their locations and they are... alright. Nothing special if I may be so frank. Their portion sizes are silly though, why are they so stingy with their ingredients? Their Bountiful, UT... — read more
Shuttered only a few of months ago if I remember correctly. It was sad at the time to see this place be shuttered but in hindsight we shouldn't have expected anything other than that happening to the Pei Wei in Bountiful in Utah. Not their best... — read more
Pei Wei closed some time ago on El Toro Road in Lake Forest, California and I didn't learn about this fact until later. Wonder why they quit their Lake Forest location? Did their lease expire or something to that effect?
Pei Wei on N Highway 183 in Austin Texas closed their diner this year and whew, I certainly won't forget eating there for as long as I live (spoiler: it wasn't positive). What is up with Pei Wei and the state of their diners this year? Or were they... — read more
I do love Asian cuisine and I think on that front Pei Wei delivers. What I don't love is dirty dining experiences! Their Houston, TX restaurant on FM 1960 needed a good scrubbing - no wonder it is no longer open.
Store closed within the last 2 weeks. Verry Sudden.
I don't understand how Pei Wei allows such restaurants to be open for so long. It's good that this one in Waco, TX has closed this week, and I'm not saying this because I'm mean spirited, but 'cause that place was a genuine health hazard.
is pei wei shutting down their restaurants. the one i passed by looked like it closed but there was no sign saying so
I have been thinking about this lately: what would you consider to be Pei Wei's biggest strength? What makes them stand out? They are rather a popular bunch and I would like to know what their secret is.
Surely some changes will soon be afoot because Pei Wei Asian Diner has been acquired by PWD Acquisition (which is managed by Lorne Goldberg) - I just don't know what kind of changes they are planning. Fingers crossed nothing bad is going to... — read more
Under cooked chicken and teen workers rushing you by putting chairs on table while you are dining is not what is meant by fast fresh.
When the chicken they serve is never cooked well done mostly barely cooked for speed and chairs are being put up as you are dining it seems as they need to slow down on that fast fresh.
We went a few days ago for dinner and it was closed! So we opted for Teriyaki Madness. Seems like there is another Pei Wei nearby so at least we have an option! I wonder why they closed. Their business seems to have dropped off quite a bit - I guess... — read more
Noooooo! It always appears to be doing a good business during the rush hours. What a cryin' shame!
Murfreesboro lost a good restaurant when Pei Wei closed here.
I hear Pei Wei is having trouble. They were famous and well respected but now people are trying to avoid them. I may be off but I think they will close stores in 2017. And maybe even after that. 5 years ago, nobody would believe that Pei Wei Asian... — read more

Every time when I go there it's packed - they cannot be closed, they are well functioning brand and a great restaurant chain - I love their menu and they will grow in 2017
