When it was still open it was thriving... until it didn't that is.
It was nice while it lasted. I have definitely enjoyed this store while it was still open and I am sure many others have as well.
How the mighty have fallen. All stores have closed.
It's true isn't it, the chain is closing all stores? Any details behind the decision or is it as simple as covid 19 making life difficult for business?
Have the sales started yet?
I know that my question is rather trivial in the gran scheme of things but I still need to know so don't blame me. Does anybody know when will Pier 1 reopen in Medford in Oregon. I'm anxious on shopping in my favorite stores again.
pier 1 store tulsa closing - yes or no? i though the store was decent and sometimes when the stars aligned it could be excellent but lately all pier 1 has been doing is close stores so i wonder... i have to wonder if that one will bite the dust
I love all of the staff at this store. They are so helpful. They show me different ways to use an item in the store.
My dad said that Pier 1 Import's fate would always end up looking like this and boy he sure does not pull any punches. He's right of course as evidenced by Pier 1 considering a plan by their potential bidder in bankruptcy court that proposes of... — read more

Very sad that the store is closing. I haven't shopped in a lot of Pier 1 stores but in those that I did I had a genuinely good experience. Obviously not all of them can be equally great but I know for a fact that the store in Keene was that great.
when will the out of business sells start? Why this store?
Pier 1 had to see this coming. And before anyone attacks me, I was one of the biggest fans of the chain. But the truth is that, in addition to never adapting to a fast changing market, their prices mostly always stayed the same. Pricey.
https://www.abc27.com/news/local/harrisburg/pier-1-closing-harrisburg-store/ Link. This is such a shame. Goodbye Pier 1.
Pier 1 has five stores in Montana currently. There's one each in Bozeman, Great Falls, Billings, Missoula and Kalispell. While I'm not sure when the stores are closing, three of those will be gone from Montana sadly. Great Falls, Missoula and... — read more

Is Pier 1 going to shutter this store...? If they are planning to do then I just cannot agree with that choice. It's a fantastic store and should stay open. Hopefully those Pier 1 closures won't affect this store at all.
There's such a melancholy in the air when I discuss Pier 1 with my family. We frequented their stores for ages and now they are dropping like flies, closing left and right. It's upsetting. Our Ithaca NY at S Meadow Street store will close on February... — read more
Please give me a list if possible, thank you.

Can someone tell me whether this lovely store is one of the poor locations that will eventually be closed by Pier 1 Imports? I would very much appreciate any feedback you can give me on this matter. Thank you in advance!

I'm very relieved to hear that I'm not the only one literally devastated that Pier 1 Imports decision to close the Avon store in Eagle County. My neighbors were rattled and so was I. It is a regretful thing that needed to happen.
Could someone tell me whether Pier 1 Imports is planning on closing the store here that is located at 7900 Wedgewood Ln? Can someone tell me? I know that it's highly possible for it to happen but I would hate to see it go.
Could Pier 1 in Metairie shutter in these upcoming round of closings? It's a nice store, yes, but I think it's more than possible for it to shutter. Everyone is annoyed with their prices lately. I'm really worried about it but I do hope everything... — read more

Good-bye Pier 1 !
This is disappointing to say the least. The Pier 1 Imports that is for now still located in the Riverhead Centre Shopping mall on Old Country Road is one of the 500~ Pier 1 store locations that must be closed, apparently.
Quite literally Nebraska will be left without any Pier 1 Imports stores. That means the nice store in Lincoln will be gone before this year ends. Shocking. I will need time to get used to having no Pier 1 Imports stores in my area.
