It closed back in May for renevation. I can confidently say that this store won't close in the coming years.
This is genuinely so sad especially because the new store at the corner of Thomaston and Tucker roads won't be their new location, so the Publix store on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard will cease to exist to completely soon. Sad day for Macon.
This store is in Florida, not California.
Publix was open here for 20 years. Even though this is upsetting for sentimental reasons, most importantly this closing in the Gateway Town Center means a food desert has been created for now in Brentwood, Jacksonville FL.
Are they opening a Publix store in Winder Georgia? If yes, when? How many new jobs is this creating?
this is a real tragedy honestly since i was hanging out at this Publix since day one and that was nineteen years ago. gateway shopping center will feel shabbier without our Publix. its going to be really strange not shopping there next year
I don't think that some people in the Brentwood area will be feeling that merry this Christmas after the Jacksonville Publix closes only three days afterwards. For some reason they decided to close the Gateway Town Center store around that time... — read more
Damn, I almost forgot about this Publix. It was a useful enough store back in the day. What had happened so that they had to pack their bags and leave their store at the 5630 Roswell Rd location in Atlanta?
Publix is gone from this location!
what went wrong with the Hollywood Publix in Florida? they had a great selection of food and other groceries and nothing was overpriced. the same cannot be said of some other stores in the area, that shall remain unnamed for now.
I don't understand why Publix closed their Saint Petersburg store in Florida this year. What could make them leave the Tyrone area? Did their lease expire or perhaps their rent got too high? I could see that being the reason for the closing. Anything... — read more
Publix closed in Miami. It happened a short while ago and I'm not sure why they decided to leave the S Dixie Hwy store. It was a solid location by all accounts. Though I do remember them having the issue with not having a lot of employees to... — read more
Loved the food they had to offer, especially their sushi (and I usually am not fond of raw meat), it is such a shame that the Publix in Florida's Lakeland closed this year, only a couple of months ago.
I'm not in New Smyrna currently so can anyone enlighten me - I have some conflicting info on the Publix off State Road 44. Some say it's closed some say it's not. I'm thinking people are confusing it with the other Publix that is nearby, because I... — read more
I took advantage of the sale that happened there before they closed at the Terrace Ridge Plaza two days ago. I am pretty sad that the Publix is gone (for now) but I also can't lie, I did struck some pretty sweet deals at the closing sale.
Publix is coming to Mountain Brook in Alabama this summer and it will be located at 1000 Jemison Lane where the former Western Supermarket was. Does anyone have the exact date of the opening? I would like to be there when it happens. Thanks.
Publix is opening its Carolina Beach store on June 26. Has anyone seen how their parking lot looks like? I sometimes feel that every Publix has a parking lot problem, or I just have rotten luck with parking spaces. The Publix itself could be... — read more
Publix will open in late August this year in The Village shopping center. There's no specific date set yet... — read more
Rumors have this Publix as closing.
go for it!
is stuart publix open today 9/11
This is a good business. Also, that's confirmed by Publix.
But they do close a store from time to time, nothing bad in that. They will continue to do so but they do not behave like other mega chains that close dozen of stores all the time.
Is this true - they are looking at overlaps and want to close stores that overlap - this is bad
This one may be closing - that's what I heard - I do not shop in Publix any more but 2017 may be the date
Please share with us the full list here - I heard that they were affected in Florida but I may be off - post the list if you have it
