I never quite warmed up to the store on 204 Manhattan St. Call me bitter, call me negative, but I never could. Once the news finally arrived which confirmed the store's closing, I just had to shrug.
The store is gonna close later this month - link: https://www.mlive.com/news/jackson/2023/07/save-a-lot-closing-its-doors-in-jackson-after-15-years.html It's been open for so long. I don't think it's fair to close it now. It's a good store. It... — read more
I heard a rumor. Save-A-Lot in Amery will allegedly close later this year. Is that true or is it simply false? Thank you in advance.
Hopefully it won't be closing...
Unfortunately Save A Lot closed the Lincoln Road store. I don't know why it closed though.
Save A Lot just couldn't survive in Wayne. https://www.wowktv.com/news/west-virginia/wayne-county-wv/grocery-store-in-wayne-west-virginia-closing-its-doors/ Man, this store was here since '99.
We believed the store closed but it was just wrong info. Save A Lot is still open in Alpena.
The store closed. I was so mad when this happened. It closed out of the blue. So aggravating!
This isn't a big surprise. Save A Lot has been slowly declining in quality and then because of it naturally in foot traffic these past few years. It just makes sense that this store closed the way it did.
The Store On 26150 Gratiot Ave Has Indeed Closed. It Is No Longer Open For The Public. Very Sad.
Sadly the store is no longer open. I wished it wasn't so but sadly that's the truth of the matter. I dunno why it closed though.
https://www.bizjournals.com/albany/news/2023/01/18/save-a-lot-distribution-center-coxsackie-closing.html Save A Lot closed this distribution center. Closed it real quiet too, I didn't even know that this was planned for this location.
Save-A-Lot closed in Sarasota on 200 N Lime Ave. I wonder when's the next time we will hear that the bigwigs up top have closed a store quietly again thinking we wouldn't notice.
I am, to say the least, taken aback by the fact that this store is still open. I think this is the perfect time to shake things up a little and change the management of the store. Maybe that will make this Save-A-Lot shine finally and it will have a... — read more
It has been brought to my attention that the store has permanently closed its doors. When exactly did this take place? That comes as a huge blow to my family as we loved doing our shopping here when we visited my parents.
What a nice, clean store this Save-A-Lot was. I can believe that it would one day close but I couldn't believe how soon the closure had happened. There was nothing wrong with it that I know of. What a waste!
SAVE-A-LOT IS REOPENING! THANK GOD. https://www.wsaz.com/2022/09/14/save-a-lot-store-reopens-after-being-closed/
Are there any more details about the closing of the E Bay Drive Save-A-Lot or not? I never got closure (no pun intended) so if somebody could share any new information about what had transpired that would be really cool. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone have any information regarding the Save-A-Lot in Apopka? Will it be closing in the future or something like that? It would be good to know.
Save-A-Lot keeps disappointing their loyal customers each time they end up closing one of their stores. This closing is especially egregious since it was so unexpected. The store on Linden Avenue in the Eastown Shopping Center closed all of a... — read more

Are you closing the golden rod save a lot.
Which stores are closing next month, if any?
What went wrong???
Sad about the closure on Cottage Grove. Save-A-Lot is closing so many stores. Is there trouble in the company or something?
These unlucky store closures continue. Yet another Save A Lot will be closing and leaving behind a community that was already in dire need of fresh and healthy groceries. The closure of the 13th and Grove in Wichita will commence next month and... — read more
Went to go to Save A Lot on Sherman in Muskegon and found the store gone. Even the sign on the Building is gone. Anyone know why?
Worked in the Methuen store for a little bit. I had a pleasant enough experience. Too bad it closed!
The Save-A-Lot on 514 Rhode Island Ave is not open for business.
When did the Save-A-Lot on Washington Ave in Philly close? Did it happen recently or a while ago? That was a nice store. Shame it's closed.
To tell you the truth, I'm d-mbfounded. I would have never predicted this and I'm not alone in this, nobody saw this closing coming. No telltale signs or rumors, nothing. Everybody was caught off guard. Apparently, the closing will happen on May... — read more
How is East Frankfort doing? Was the Save A Lot closing on Versailles Road closed two months ago worth it now that it created a food desert? Was that issue ever resolved? I know that Save A Lot doesn't care.
Anyone have any clue when the closure of the Save-A-Lot happen? It was a nice addition to Bridgeton a few years back so I'm confused why they left that spot.
Well, I saw this closing coming and I can't say that I feel sorry for them either. The Save A Lot on 698 Peoria St in Aurora wasn't the best Save A Lot location and if they just managed it better they wouldn't have closed it permanently last year... — read more
Man, what a waste. I can name so many stores that I would love to never see again and wouldn't care at all if they closed and the Save A Lot at 9742 Old St Augustine Rd in Jacksonville was definitely NOT one of them. Great store and good... — read more

I liked it much more better than the old Safeway that was there before but now it looks that even Save A Lot couldn't survive in that location @ 514 Rhode Island Ave NE in Washington DC. Huge, huge bummer that it closed when it did.
Sometimes I couldn't believe how that location failed to have a full inventory at times but despite those shortcomings I don't want it to close! It's creating a huge issue for West Side. Food deserts are something we should take seriously and... — read more
Man I didn't know that this closing had happened. What a stupid thing to do but I guess that's just my own biased opinion as a customer. They did it for business reasons of course but in my opinion, no Save-A-Lot should be closing and especially... — read more
