This restaurant closing was a big mistake on TGI Fridays part. It caused a great annoyance for everyone who ever dined here and I know that a lot of people would never return to eat at a TGI Fridays ever again. In my best Julia Roberts voice Big... — read more
The Denver TGI Fridays closed permanently, there is no sign it will ever reopen. I'm sure some other chain is on its way to replace it as I type this.

TGI Fridays is closing 36 locations and selling 8 of them. Annoyingly, TGI Fridays won't say which exact locations are closing. So far we only know that they are underperforming. It makes sense, when you lose money you gotta do something about it... — read more
The TGI Friday's closed at 825 Central Park Ave in Scarsdale. It was an unfortunate piece of business, that closing that is. I'm wondering when it happened though, I can't seem to remember and neither can I find the info elsewhere online.
How sad! https://kidotalkradio.com/ixp/660/p/friday-closing-2023/ It's the very last Idaho location.
TGI Fridays better not close this location or I'll riot (figuratively)!
Truthfully it is understandable why it closed. In this economy if a restaurant is average at best it should close for good so it can save the company its money. Risks aren't worth it anymore. Stability is important.
Just a FYI in case someone didn't know that the TGI Friday's Ammon, ID restaurant has been closed for some time now. Thought it would be good to mention that.
When did T.G.I. Friday's in Apex close?
Yep, that's the one that closed.
Eau Claire's TGI Fridays (the one on 4800 Golf Rd) closed unfortunately last year (or the year before, my memory is a little fuzzy). I'm only saying unfortunately because I liked having any sort of TGI Fridays around, not because that restaurant was... — read more
San Antonio TX lost TGI Friday's but for me that wasn't a bad thing at all. I don't like this chain, really.
I love the chain but even TGI Friday's has a dud or two in the form of a restaurant. The Augusta one was certainly a "dud".
To be utterly and completely honest, the quality of this TGI Friday's went down the drain a long time ago. That's why I'm neither shocked nor sad that this location closed in the end. If they only listened to the many complaints we customers had over... — read more
I was really disappointed to hear the news of this restaurant's closure... I had hoped that TGI Friday's changed their mind and instead tried investing in this location but nope. They thought it would be more beneficial to close this location... — read more
Apparently, this location is now closed for good. That, I think, is very unfortunate - and hear me out. Yes, I know that a lot of folks hated this TGI Friday's but in this current economy I feel for everybody who loses their jobs and that is why I... — read more
The Miami Beach TGI Friday's has closed. When did that happen? Can't find anything online.
TGI Friday's closed a few months ago @ 29 NE Loop 410, such a shame if you ask me. It wasn't perfect but no TGI Friday's is perfect. I liked having it around.
Appears to be closed? Even though their Facebook page is still updating daily. Somebody forgot to tell Advertising.
TGI Friday's in Henderson was pretty busy when it was open. Did they face some issues with the E Sunset Rd restaurant that we didn't know about? The food was great, the servers were friendly... what went wrong?
TGI Friday's shuttered permanently last year in Mobile, Alabama. I was there only a few times and it was alright. It was your average, run-of-the-mill TGI Friday's.
Just now found out that the TGI Friday's closed. What happened? Issues with their lease or something?
The TGI Friday's in Valley Fair Mall closed and I wasn't surprised to hear that. Everyone gushed about that restaurant but my experience at that TGI Friday's was bad. I'm sure they had their redeeming qualities, I'm just bummed out I never got to see... — read more
TGI Friday's been doing better than most. Is it really due to them focusing on take-out? That would make sense but aren't most restaurants focusing on take-out to survive during covid anyways? I thought it was a given.
I only know of a couple of locations that have shuttered but many more have gone dark in the meantime. Does anyone know which ones?
These news just do not bode well for our favorite restaurant chain. Just read about the possibility that twenty percent of TGI Friday's restaurants could close here because of coronavirus affecting business. What a demoralizing thought.
It's still such a downer that the TGI Friday's in Parsippany on Route 46 closed in December of last year. I remember it fondly and the customer service was nice too. The folks working there deserved better than this closing.
It's only business but the closing of the TGI Friday's in Watertown, N.Y. was an unfortunate affair either way in my opinion. Not only for the dozen or so job cuts that occured but also because the location was a stellar one.
This closure totally caught me off-guard because I just did not expect it to happen at all. The TGI Fridays on Centerville Road in Warwick closed abruptly and for good on Sunday. This was the only Rhode Island location. What happened?
Is there a list out there or something
Is Appleton TGIF ckosing
The TGI Friday's in Compton... the one on 1725 S Alameda... that restaurant was so bad. But I remember a time when it was great, loved eating there and just in general spend some of my free time. In the end they lost customers and they closed... — read more
Ok I went a bit overboard with "Midtown Manhattan cheers as TGI Fridays closes". I'm sure that there were a lot of fans of that restaurant on 677 Lexington Ave in NY but I was not one of them. When they closed this year I felt indifferent.
Sad to say but the TGI Fridays in Rockford has closed on December 2nd this month. I cannot imagine why that location had to close in any conceivable way. I'm very upset by this since it was such a cool restaurant.
The TGI Fridays at 125 Montrose West Ave in Copley was kinda meh in many regards but I have to admit that the staff were great people. Friendliness and kindness radiated from them and only because of them I'm gonna say that it's terrible that this... — read more

To me TGI Friday's is overrated. I don't get what the big deal is with the people who love it so much. My wife loved the TGI Friday's at 23420 Hawthorne Blvd in Torrance. Her shock when it closed was huge. I never took a liking to it myself.
Supposedly TGI Friday's in Altoona PA closed this March due to the lack of any good management but I have to disagree. I don't think that the management was bad, it was fantastic! I enjoyed dining here immensely!
The TGI Fridays that closed recently at 3601 S 2700 W in West Valley City in Utah was certainly a mixed bag for me. There were a lot of positives about this restaurant that I can eagery list but there were equally a lot of things that I just... — read more
