Mall stores seem to be cursed these days so I wasn't shocked at all when Williams Sonoma closed in late January in the Mall of Louisiana this year. I wish it didn't happen at all but that's another story entirely.

While the other Williams-Sonoma stores will stay open in Somerset Collection in Troy, The Village of Rochester Hills and in the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi - sadly the same cannot be said of the Ann Arbour store. The Williams-Sonoma store in... — read more
This isn't the first and it is definitely not the last Williams Sonoma store that will close in the upcoming couple of months. I know that a few will close on the same date, Jan. 31 next year, and the store in the Mall of Louisiana is one of them. — read more

Is the WIlliams-Sonoma in Biltmore Village closing down? I have heard rumors but no-one seems to know for sure.
No closures in sight, but Williams Sonoma keeps adding stores. I don't know what issues there may be in future, but no closures for sure in 2017.
