But, if you look under the surface you'll notice that they are also opening a ton of new places - they are expanding in Asia. Yes, Burger King did close some stores in 2016 and may close even more in 2017 but the overall footprint expanded. A few things to note:
They now have more focus on:
- Customer
- Food Quality
- Speed
- Better Locations
- Capital Investments
So, yes, there will be BK stores closing but there is maybe more bright future for us at Burger King
