I m at 1 of the kmarts that is doing the inventory blow out. For us it's over next week. I don't know how many stores it worked for, I heard 2 in Chicago but it has done nothing for ours. I believe we only had 2 days where we made a profit. Customers were noticing right away that we raised the original price on most items and then took the % off. Some of our more expensive items went up by as much as $60 so with the blow out price you are only saving $10-$20
THEY think all customers are id–ts and don't see the increase. This is a failure at my store.
