They don't cook anything in Applebee's. Its made in a distribution center, then packaged, frozen and sent out to the restaurants, which heat it up and serve it. Applebee's should close them all so that everyone can eat local. I think that the bigger problem is that the current generation does not have the spending power that previous generations had. College tuition is way beyond what one could afford on a minimum wage or entry level salary. Spending has to decline when wages do.
Keep in mind that you need to eat:
- local
- fresh
- quality
- organic
So, avoid Applebee's at all cost - they do not deserve to be in business
