I can officially say that the Save-A-Lot in G–lord sadly closed.
In the words of the owners, an increased competition with other stores (Aldi, mainly), a building that is barely holding up and a lease that will expire soon made up a deadly concoction that ultimately resulted in this closure.
The decision seemed hard on the owners and I know that the community is sad about it too... despite its faults, it was a nice, cheery place. Definitely will miss it.
