I believe it closed last month, yes? Sad either way.
How disappointing! JOANN is closing their Wooster location at 3786 Burbank Rd. I believe that this was a bad thing for JOANN to do. The store can still be restored and improved. Why close it? Please, give it a second chance and don't close it on... — read more
Though no information has been released, keep an open ear for this locations closure within the next 2 years
Hands down. This is their best store.
How can I know if it will be closing or not?
Yes or no?
Wonderful store gone too early!
Everyone I know deeply adores this JoAnn and it would be a bad thing for sure if it ended up closing at any point. :(
Management changes or something must have happened since this store isn't as good as it was before. Back a few years ago it was the best Joann store in Ohio but these days wow... would never say that about it now.
This store's unfortunate and permanent closing is a huge loss for all of us. The closing is just tragic in a way, I think Pasadena doesn't have a lot of good arts and crafts stores anymore and Jo-Ann has as a company always has stores that are... — read more
Unfortunate as it is, Joann Fabrics has decided to close the store in the Cranberry Mall, ceasing all operations once the deed is done. I assume the store underperformed in some way or another to justify this decision. It will close on May 14th. — read more
Is there any signs or whatever that indicate whether this JoAnn will be closing any time in the future? I haven't expected the previous closings at all so I have to ask.
They are closing this store this week. To bad, it was one of my favorites in Marion. One can still buy JoAnn's stuff online, but I really hate online shopping.
Joann is gonna be replaced by an Aldi next week once the closing finalises. Cockeysville, MD store was a failure but this doesn't mean that Joann itself is struggling. I don't think the company will face any major trouble this year.
JoAnn is closing in Marion too at the Marion Centre mall. It's closing on January 15th, next month. I wonder how many more will close next... — read more
I'm not reassured by these news at all. At least two stores are closing and who's to say that the folks at Jo-Ann Fabrics will stop at two? Why not five, or ten more closings? Very worrying news. I think liquidation sales have started already but... — read more
These are such sad tidings. Bridgeport's sole JOANN store is closing and the liquidation sale will start in late November. Only three JOANN stores will be left with this closing in West Virginia. Let's hope they won't be closing in 2023 too. That... — read more
This is a sad thing that happened a couple of years ago. The Jo-Ann was so wonderful and I always appreciated that it was there. Now, it's gone and I'm inconsolable.
Please don't spread misinformation that this store has closed. It has not. Check for yourselves.
WIll this store be closing this year?
It's coming this summer. Link to the news article. https://www.wmbfnews.com/2022/02/21/new-joann-store-myrtle-beach-open-july/
When is the Nampa, Idaho store moving or closing? Theshopping center its in is being torn down . The store is poorly stocked. Somethings gotta give. When and where?
I don't think it would close but there's no harm in asking anyways.
it is so sad that joann/ fabroc/craif stores are cloaing. will there be closers in oregon & washington and what loaction? in 2021/2022
Maybe it would be helpful if Joanns ditched all the extra decorating cr-p and just go back to fabric and crafts? Never understood why they added it in the first place, ditch it, smaller size store and viola- simple solved the problem of closing... — read more
As Sterling gains a brand new JoAnn store, Leesburg in turn will lose one. There have been rumors for a while now that the Joann in Leesburg will be closing this year and it looks like that those rumors have proven to be more or less correct. It's a... — read more
Can we expect new Joann closings?
Totally displeased with the closing of the Joann store in Memphis. The 7746 Polo Grounds store. The closing seemed so sudden to me! Like that store was perfectly fine. Excellent sometimes, even. Why did it close? I just do not understand the thought... — read more
Joann closed in Anchorage last year. Most likely because of the pandemic. Is it just me or did the chain close all over the country? There haven't been a lot of closings but yeah. I noticed them disappearing slowly. I hope that the entire company... — read more
When did JOANN close at 1311 E 3300th S in Salt Lake City? It was a respectable store. Not every JOANN needs to be perfect. It didn't need to close.
Very proud that JoAnn only saw little to no closures recently. That is good for the company. However, it's still incredibly sad that JoAnn Fabrics closed last year at Point a Carlisle Plaza. I wish we won't see that happening this year.
During our Christmas dinner I had an interesting conversation with my in-laws when the topic of Joann and their stores came up. We're really interested to know why the store at 1311 E 3300th S in Salt Lake City closed. Anybody know? I was there... — read more
The Polo Grounds Jo-Ann store in Memphis closed back in September last year and it moved to the Forest Hill Irene Road location. Dunno if that store is still open however.
When did it shutter? It was lovely but I wish their parking situation was better. It would benefit them in the long run to fix that issue. Obviously now for the Metairie store it doesn't matter now but I mean their other stores that have these same... — read more
Dang, this year couldn't be more soul-crushing even if it tried. Is it REALLY true that the JOANN Fabrics in Mountain View is closed permanently? Could it reopen next year? I positively adore the San Antonio Rd store so this closing is just... — read more
Wish that Joann could reopen some of their stores again. The one that closed in Colma for example. Parking now is such a hassle (but when is parking NOT a hassle though ugh) and besides that, the Colma store was so great too.
Please share only permanent closures!
