This was a beautiful store but Lord and Taylor called it quits on the 110 High Ridge Road location. It's closed for good in Stamford.

My wife and I have shopped at Lord and Taylor for decades. We hate to see any of those stores close, but Northbrook is our favorite. Will any Lord and Taylor stores be open in Illinois?

Over the weekend Lord & Taylor have closed the doors to all of their remaining locations. It's a bit sad, isn't it? Their stores were really nice. Oh well.

I'm aware of a few stores opening up again but what about those that are closing? Anyone here that knows more?

Just saw that the Lord & Taylor at the Tysons Corner Center has a clearance sale. Supposedly they will be leaving the location before November ends. I don't mind the closing too much. Just bought myself a few cute sweaters!

both the stores in danbury fair mall and westfarms mall in farmington were beautiful stores. i prayed that at least those two stores in connecticut could stay open however i know that would be too good to be true

Can't believe it's gone. I wish I could shop here one last time.

Manhasset lost a genuinely wonderful store once Lord & Taylor left.

Man, what a shame. It was always a pleasure to go shopping here but no longer. This store closed a while ago.

Times really are tough if Lord & Taylor store on New York's Fifth Avenue is closing! After a century, the location is turning into WeWork's headquarters. Yup, times are changing for sure...

It makes no sense to close a flagship store that does tremendous business and then keep smaller stores in the suburban malls open. People come to New York to shop in department stores like Lord and Taylor. A very bad business decision.

It's the end of an era really. The 104-year-old Fifth Avenue store is officially closed for good.

Is there any chance that the Lord and Taylor in Eastchester will close? The L&T people are really confident that this location won't fall into ruin, but I'm thinking otherwise. Brick and mortar stores can't survive in this climate...

This is so heartbreaking to learn. So many people will lose their jobs next year due to this upcoming closure. The Lord & Taylor store in the Palisades Center in West Nyack won't be open any longer come January 29th. Sad.

Why did they close this store? I thought they did well business wise, even though admittedly a few people had some issues with them. I sometimes didn't like the way how some employees handled the customers but other than that this store was fine.

This was an excellent store to be sure! The 14250 Lakeside Circle store was one of my all-time favorites. It's a huge loss for Sterling Heights that they are no longer open for business anymore. Huge, huge loss.

Lord and Taylor has filed a closing notice for their store at the Palisades Center in West Nyack. It sadly seems that they will close it in only a few months. On January 31st of next year we can expect the store to be completely gone.

Lord and Taylor is going to close at this location soon and I'm truly heartbroken. I have so much fond memories of this store I could put them into a book. It is what it is though. The store will be missed dearly.

Is Lord and Taylor in Huntington NY closing forever? I can assume that it is closed now because of the pandemic but I have been wondering on whether the store will survive the aftermaths of this coronavirus crisis. Is it closing or not?

These are such dark times. I can't even believe that some chains - due to pure luck of course - are still open and are doing well - well, I say! - while a company like Lord & Taylor is considering bankruptcy because of this pandemic.

Lord & Taylor in the White Flint Mall has been closing down. The store and the mall both have seen better days. The chain filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this month so this is to be expected. Depressing but expected.
