The Batavia store is closed for some time now.

I was at this store only once but it left a good impression on me nevertheless.

The Akron store was clean and well-organized - I couldn't say the same of some of the other stores in the area! I still can't believe the store has closed. It felt like it was yesterday when I went in to check if they got a sale going on.

It happened long ago too but I guess it's nice to reminiscence once in a while about a store. I loved their sales and their inventory was always top notch.

Why close the Rolla store? This one was really great. I don't get this world sometimes.

Shame about this store. Wonder when it stopped being open however, any clues? I can't remember myself but then again I had a head injury so my memory isn't as good as it once was.

It's been a while since the store closed but we still miss it in our neighborhood.

Payless plans to close between 350 and 500 stores within the next three years. The main idea is to open a super store. This will give them competitiveness with the DSWs.

Are they going to keep all three Colorado Springs locations? Or are they planning to eliminate some of them and close the shop? What are your thoughts?
