Sears Appliance and Hardware Store at 649 South Mason Rd., is closing soon, according it's facebook page.

The Homosassa store located at 3936 U.S. 19, in Springs Plaza is holding a liquidation sale in advance of its closing which will happen next month.

We have 3 Sears stores in our town, whenever i go there there is no customers, all the merchandise looks like they took it out of the dumpster... when it's dead it's dead.

Just because the store is listed on this site, does not mean that it is being closed. Nowhere does it say that the store is closing.

Sears was a catalog mail order store, in the 1800's, OK? But you know what? Sometimes you have to tie "old yeller" to a tree, and put a slug in him. Business is business. We used to make clothes here too, but we prefer slave labor overseas, now.
