The one that was on 400 N Vermont Ave in East Hollywood seems to have kicked the bucket. Can't say that I will miss it.
Food here is great.
Maybe Denny's should invest in more experienced chefs. Sure, they make excellent food but they always mess up my order. I always get the wrong dish. Who's fault is that?
As of mid summer 2021 this Denny's is still closed :)
Too bad, really. I knew of folks who despised the Denny's on 150 Nassau Street but I liked it a lot. To be fair, I ate there only twice however.
Can't say I'm surprised to see that the Denny's in Hollywood closed. That wasn't their best restaurant, let alone the best restaurant on Sunset Boulevard.
Loved this restaurant back when I lived in Merrillville but I can't seem to figure out when this place closed. It's the Denny's on 720 E 81st St. It didn't have the best rep but it still had its share of customers. It's still a Denny's after all... — read more
That location always got relatively low reviews online but everyone I know was obsessed with that Denny's. My friends and I were sad beyond belief once we found out the Denny's on 1101 S Harbor Blvd decided to call it quits.
Love getting breakfast at Denny's. The menu in the Merrillville Denny's on 720 E 81st St was pretty good. Heard they closed though. I'm pretty bummed about it because of the parking. It seems like a minor thing to many but parking is very important... — read more
When did the Upland Denny's on S Mountain Ave close?
I liked their menu a lot. It was a regular ol' Denny's but still special in a way. Though I do agree with the majority that the service at 6190 S State Rd 53 was too slow. Sometimes it just wasn't worth the wait.
You wouldn't hear anyone call the Denny's at 950 Chemung St in Horseheads, NY a great establishment but in my humble opinion, it was still a worthwhile location. It's a bummer it closed.
Most of the time Denny's hires the best people for the job and I rarely if ever have had complaints about their customer service. Until I found out about the Denny's on Lincoln Boulevard that is. I don't know if I just happened to be around... — read more
The store must have closed recently. I'm not sure 100% that it closed permanently or if they will reopen later this year. I was a little annoyed when I found out. I want them to be open. It's the Denny's located @ 5751 Sunset Boulevard. Some... — read more
I feel so bad for everyone who works in Geneseo because they will probably get the boot after this restaurant closes. I wish them the best and that they can get a job soon. I know how hard it is to find a job during this corona outbreak.
Money makes the word turn around and when the money stops coming in the world stops turning I guess. Replace "the world" with "Denny's" and that's what you get with the three Virginia locations that have closed last week. Mount Jackson, Warrenton... — read more
This Denny's is closing. I feel like the chain isn't investing in their locations these days so it's no wonder that they are closing like this. Of course, that's not good but Denny's doesn't listen to their customers lately so who knows if they will... — read more
Kinda disappointing to learn that this Denny's will be closing. They talk all big and mighty on social media and yet their restaurants are closing left and right and dropping like flies. Maybe the chain should learn some humility, huh?
Here's a list of the Denny's that will no longer by open anymore: 2890 W. Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 911 Jefferson Road, Rochester, NY 160 Eastern Blvd., Canandaigua, NY 4240 Lakeville Rd, Geneseo, NY 813 Canandaigua Rd... — read more
Would be nice to know any details y'all are willing to share.
The restaurant business took a hit during this COVID-19 outbreak. Very scary stuff. Every restaurant that could close, closed. Same goes for these Denny's. The company was hit hard too. Here's a list: 103 Elwood Davis Rd., Syracuse, NY... — read more
What is up with the Denny's location in East St. Louis? The one at 140 Racehorse Dr? Could it be that they packed their bags and left the area? Surely not. It was such a popular spot when it was open. Temp closure? Huh?
I am SICK and TIRED of people endlessly yammering about Denny's and their possible downfall. NO Denny's is NOT closing for good and you people really should worry less about that. It's so annoying when some people only talk about this topic when... — read more
Whenever I would got out with my wife and two sons the servers would get their order right but mine literally never. That happened almost every time. I was always annoyed back then but now I'm strangely nostalgic about the Arlington Garden's Denny's... — read more
The nice Denny's in Santa Monica on 1560 Lincoln Blvd is no more. It's such a sad state of affairs that not even a Denny's could survive in that neighborhood. I went here with my sister every week. Only a few other restaurants could replace it now.
Another Daly City restaurant closed in the last few months. This year it's the Denny's that closed in the Serramonte Shopping Center. It's particularly astounding because it's been open for decades and I'm not even exaggerating.
Denny's Pacifica location at 500 Linda Mar Blvd is closed. It didn't close recently if I remember correctly so it's not due to the coronavirus. I think it's the same issue every other underperforming restaurant faces in its lifetime: it didn't... — read more
Nobody judge me when I say this but I LOVED Denny's at Fair Oaks Blvd in Carmichael. I have been to many Denny's in California but that one was just outstanding. I was so shocked when I found out that not everyone would agree with me in that... — read more
My brother-in-law thinks the Denny's left this location due to not bringing in enough money for the chain. I suppose he's kind of right. The restaurant did seem it underperformed when compared to other restaurants nearby.
Bummer. Denny's closed a location in Sacramento and that is quite the shame. It's always sad when I see one of their locations go under but that's just how it is in the restaurant business. It's cutthroat to say the least.
I'm not saying that I'm that shocked that Denny's closed their rather painfully average Ithaca, N.Y. restaurant on Elmira Road but, and correct me if I'm wrong, it was a busy place regardless so it shouldn't have been closed. What gives?
The Denny’s restaurant off Route 96 in Victor, Ontario County in New York has suddenly closed. It happened last week but I couldn't tell you why they closed that location. I have no clue myself though it is too bad, isn't it?
The Denny's that was located in Ithaca is no longer open. We do not know why they closed. I'm very upset by this myself. I didn't even know that they were planning on closing their Elmira Road restaurant. I feel betrayed by this closing.
I just don't get it. All of a sudden, Denny's closed on Gratiot Avenue last month. It all seemed abrupt to me to tell you the truth. It was such a nice little addition to Roseville too. I know that not everyone is a fan but I am.
I have lived in No. Redondo Beach for 60 years and have always enjoyed the delicious food at Denny's. Now that I'm much older our family goes to Denny's for take-out, for Thanksgiving, Christmas and all other days. I hope the signs in the windows do... — read more
No more breakfasts at Denny's for me. Ah, maybe that's for the best too. This closing at 631 E. 24th St. in Holland, as dark as it might sound, might be a good thing. I could try and eat more healthier from now on. I'm an optimist.
Denny's closed on October 31st in Waterbury Connecticut. I'm not trying to be mean but - so what? I think anybody would have been hard-pressed to find someone that could say anything nice about the 939 Wolcott Street location.
